British smartphone maker Nothing has cut the price of its Phone 2 on Amazon, days before the scheduled July release of the Phone 3. The 128GB model with 8GB RAM now starts at Rs 28,128, down from its launch price of Rs 49,999. Customers can secure the lower rate through a combination of instant discounts, cashback offers and a site-wide coupon.
Amazon is offering a Rs 1,000 coupon on Phone 2 purchases as part of its "Nothing Summer Sale," valid until June 2. UPI transactions add a further Rs 250 cashback, bringing the effective discount to Rs 1,250. ICICI Bank credit cardholders using Amazon Pay will receive an extra Rs 1,869 cashback, reducing the price to Rs 28,128.
An exchange program on Amazon can cut the cost by up to Rs 28,150, depending on the condition of the device traded in. Currently, the 256GB variant is out of stock on the platform.
Phone 2 runs Android 13 on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and features a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device includes dual 50-megapixel rear cameras with optical image stabilization and a 32-megapixel front camera. A 4,700mAh battery supports fast charging, and the handset carries an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
The price reduction aligns with the upcoming launch of the Phone 3 in July, as Nothing positions the Phone 2 as a competitive option in the flagship segment at a reduced cost.
